TELL YOUR LOCAL MEDIA
Copy and past the press release form our Media Relations page into an email or a word document and send it around to your local news media.
Even if you can’t take the day off from work, you can help notify others of volunteer opportunities in your area. Take a few minutes to contact ANY ORGANIZATION NEAR YOU that does nice things for other people on a non-profit basis, and see if they could use some volunteers on December 10. Then, direct them to our website and encourage them to post their opportunity for service. OR, offer to post it for them! Here are some ideas of places to start with:

We’re still waiting for the Senate to pass ENDA so that it can be signed into law. Once it is, it will become illegal to discriminate against gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals and transgendered individuals in the workplace.
