Instructions: How to Post Volunteer OpportunityThis is a featured page

Does your organization need volunteers on December 10? Here's how to post:

1.) Choose the state where your organization needs volunteers from the Volunteer Opportunities Page. (If you're based in New York, but need volunteers in San Francisco, choose "California.")

2.) On your state's page, click the "Easy Edit" button in the upper left-hand corner of the page.Posting Instructions, Fig. 2

3.) The "Easy Edit Toolbar" will pop open at the top of your browser. Just click on the next available row in the table on the page, and enter your info. (City where you need volunteers, Name of Organzation, Website or Street Address, a brief description of the activity you need volunteers to do, and contact information: Name, phone, email address.)

Please use 10pt Arial font on everything to make sure that we can fit as many opportunities onto the page as possible. Formatting is controlled just like a Word document via the Easy Edit Toolbar. Email and web links will automatically go live. Be sure to enter correctly so they work!

4. Once you've finished entering your information, click "Save" on the Easy Edit Toolbar, and your event will be added to the page.

So since there is a movement to call in gay and not go to work why not take it to the next step? Wouldn't it make a bigger impact if everyone who was a part of a Day Without a Gay met in a central area of their city/town? That way other people would see the masses that care about gay right?
